Hormone Therapy
Testosterone therapy in Muskogee
[Placeholder, Holli review] For men and for women, at the doses each actually needs. We confirm the diagnosis on morning bloodwork before anyone writes a prescription, and we keep checking after you start.
Why people come in
[Placeholder, Holli review] None of this is proof of anything on its own. Plenty of it has other explanations, and part of the job is ruling those out. But when several of these showed up together and stayed, it is worth measuring.
What we measure- Depression
- Poor Sleep
- Brain Fog
- Fatigue
- Low Libido
- Erecticle Dysfunction
- Unexplained Weigh Gain
- Decreased Muscle Mass
How it goes
[Placeholder, Holli review] Four steps from the first phone call to a dose that holds. Nothing here happens over a video call.
Consult and labs
We go through your history, what you have noticed and when it started. Then we draw blood. Testosterone is measured in the morning, because that is when the number means something.
Read the panel together
Your clinician walks you through the results line by line. Sometimes the answer is hormones. Sometimes it is thyroid, or iron, or sleep apnea, and we will tell you that instead of writing a prescription you do not need.
Start, if it fits
If therapy is right for you, we will provide training for self-administration and/or set up weekly appointments to have our staff administer the treatment.
Recheck at 3 months
Bloodwork again, and a conversation about how you actually feel. Doses move based on both. After that we settle into a monitoring rhythm that runs as long as you are on therapy.
[Placeholder, Holli review] Three ways to take it
The molecule is the same. What changes is how steady the level stays, how much you have to think about it, and how quickly we can correct course.
Injection
Testosterone cypionate, self-administered at home or by our trained staff by appointment.
The panel
[Placeholder, Holli review] Drawn in the morning, because testosterone peaks early and an afternoon number will mislead you. A low result gets confirmed on a second draw before we act on it.
We run the rest of it because low energy has a long list of causes and hormones are only one of them. If your thyroid or your iron is the actual problem, this is where it shows up.
- Total and Free testosterone
- Complete Blood Count
- Cholesterol
- HDL Cholesterol
- Triglycerides
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

- Folicular Stimulating Hormone**
- ** Women treatment only
Questions
Do you treat women?
Yes. Testosterone is part of normal physiology at every age, and the doses used are roughly a tenth of a man's. It comes up most often around perimenopause and after, usually alongside estradiol and progesterone. The protocol is different, the monitoring is different, and it is handled by the same clinician who handles everything else here.
How long before I notice anything?
Sex drive and mood tend to move first, inside a few weeks. Energy and sleep follow. Body composition is the slow one and takes three to six months of consistent training and eating to show up. Anyone promising a faster answer is selling something.
Will this affect fertility?
Testosterone therapy suppresses sperm production, and for some men that suppression does not fully reverse. If you want children now or later, say so at the consult. There are other approaches that raise your own testosterone without shutting down the signal, and we would rather start there.
Is this a lifetime commitment?
Usually, if the cause is a testicle or pituitary that is not producing. Stopping means the symptoms come back over a few weeks. You can stop whenever you want and we will help you taper, but go in understanding that.
What does it cost, all in?
The monthly program covers the medication, the follow-up labs and the visits. There is no separate charge for a dose adjustment or a question between appointments. The one-time consult and panel is the only cost outside the program.
Do you take insurance?
No. We are cash pay, which is why the price is on the website. Your labs and medication may be reimbursable through an HSA or FSA card, and we can give you an itemized receipt to submit.
Who is not a candidate?
Active prostate or breast cancer, untreated severe sleep apnea, uncontrolled heart failure, a hematocrit that is already high, or trying to conceive in the near term. Some of those are permanent, some just mean we treat something else first.
Start with the panel
One visit, one blood draw, and a straight answer about whether hormone therapy is the right thing for what you are dealing with.
